Khyber Shinwari Dastarkhwan (https://maps.app.goo.gl/PUsPhv3jUxbYNpXn8)
This was my first stop after arriving in Islamabad. Its not a premium restaurant, just a normal place where locals go to eat good food at a reasonable price which was recommended by my pakistani buddy. The serve pashtun’s shinwari cuisine and famous for its shinwari karahi. Below are the food that we ordered :-

1. shinwari karahi
2. kehwa (green tea). before drink, grab a sugar cube (shakar) in the plastic case and put into the mouth, then drink the tea, thats how locals do it.
3. yogurt
4. grilled lamb ribs
5. grilled lamb liver

Similar in Jordan, the bread is placed without any plate under it and surprisingly everyone eat it without getting any diarrhea

Pakistani Homecooked Meal
I stayed at my friend’s home and his wife and mother prepared a heavy breakfast, homemade chicken karahi. Throughout my time in his home, I did not see his wife and mother AT ALL except his father and daughter. Probably its a culture thing.

The Refreshment Center (https://share.google/sWt5zJp5IUL5b7QkW)
Located at Rawalpindi. Yes… weird name but not the food! Their samosa chaat and golgappe are bloody good! They have several branches around the country, this place is called “دی ریفریشمنٹ” in Urdu.

Savour Foods (https://share.google/tmpkxBz4GK8ZdRAFh)
Located at Rawalpindi. Another famous restaurant chain serving cheap and tasty pulao and it only costs PKR525 (MYR7.55)!!! I had to pay 3 times the price for similar dish in malaysia.

Typical pakistani coffee shop
It has similar ambience like mamak restaurant in Malaysia but with far cheaper price of coffee and tea.
